Santiago Villas consists of 89 units for seniors over 55. This site was an abandoned Howard Johnson hotel which was converted into studio, one and two bedroom apartments for seniors. Amenities include large amounts of open space, exercise room, laundry facilities, and a community room with computer lab.
The project is within walking distance of several restaurants and located near supermarkets, drug stores, bus lines and the Santa Ana Medical Arts Building. This project was funded with tax-exempt bonds and HOME funds from the City of Santa Ana and funds from the Santa Ana Redevelopment Agency.
